The external surface of a balloon for IABP balloon catheter is designed to have a rough surface occupying an area of 10 to 80% both inclusive of the whole of the external surface, and a smooth surface occupying an area of 90 to 20% both inclusive thereof. The supplied balloon for IABP balloon catheter is certainly unwrapped by a predetermined balloon pressure from a driving machine, with no need to conduct any preloading process, and further which is not unwrapped before and during the insertion of the catheter even in the state that a wrapping sheath is removed. |
