PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To derive shading information by an unconventional method.SOLUTION: A shading information derivation device is provided with: a three-dimension reconfiguration part which derives a group of three-dimensional points of an entire scene shown by a multi-viewpoint image on the basis of a multi-viewpoint image having an image content as a scene photographed from a plurality of viewpoints; a reference object area extraction part for extracting a group of three-dimensional points from the group of three-dimensional points of the entire scene derived by the three-dimension reconfiguration part; a normal line derivation part for deriving normal lines of the group of three-dimensional points of the reference object extracted by the reference object area extraction part; and a shading information derivation part for deriving the shade information on the basis of the group of three-dimensional points of the reference object and the normal lines of the group of three-dimensional points of the reference object. |
