PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the utilization efficiency of a cache.SOLUTION: A relay device 10 relays communication between an information request device for requesting information and an information providing device for providing the requested information. The relay device 10 comprises interfaces 200, 201 for receiving a signal transmitted by the information request device. The relay device 10 comprises a management unit 208 for performing at least one of the connection management of a network, authentication of the information request device, and authentication of a user of the information request device by using the signal. The relay device 10 comprises a control unit 207 for performing control to allocate a storage region included in a storage device 209, or for controlling a range where information stored in the storage region can be provided if the management unit 208 detects connection or disconnection with the network, or an authentication result by the management unit 208, or the elapse of a connection valid time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
