PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for detecting foreign matter of an electrode assembly, capable of specifying a position where foreign matter is mixed.SOLUTION: As a foreign matter position specification step on the surface orthogonal to the lamination direction of an electrode in an electrode assembly including foreign matter, a method for detecting foreign matter of an electrode assembly includes the steps of: measuring a resistance value between a positive pole electrode 40 and a negative pole electrode 50 while the surface orthogonal to the lamination direction of the electrode is pressed by a roller 73 and the roller 73 is relatively moved on the surface in the X-direction; and measuring the resistance value between the positive pole electrode 40 and the negative pole electrode 50 while the surface orthogonal to the lamination direction of the electrode is pressed by a roller 74 and this roller 74 is relatively moved on the surface in the Y-direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
