PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve correction processing in which deterioration in frequency response characteristics of interpolation operation which is irregularly caused in a screen is suppressed by controlling the frequency response characteristics.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: specifying means of specifying a position, corresponding to a pixel of interest in a corrected image obtained by correcting an image to be processed, in the image to be processed; first calculating means of calculating a deformation amount of the image at the specified position; second calculating means of calculating an interpolation phase based upon the distance between the specified position and a pixel of the image to be processed nearby the position; and correcting means of calculating a pixel value of the pixel of interest through interpolation processing using peripheral pixels at the specified position of the image to be processed, the correcting means performing the interpolation processing using an interpolation filter having a coefficient determined according to the deformation quantity and interpolation phase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
