PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a wiping body restoration carpet capable of easily removing adhering substances tangling with a wiping body of a cleaning tool to restore the wiping body; a dust collector that includes the wiping body restoring carpet; and a method for dust collection by which dust collection and restoration of the wiping body by the wiping body restoration carpet can be performed.SOLUTION: The dust collection is performed in such a manner that dust in a cleaning area 9 is collected by a mop cleaning tool 2 to be carried to a suction port 4 and the dust is sucked by a dust collector 1. At a time, for example, when the dust collection is completed, a mop 7 to which hair, fallen hair of a pet, and the like adheres is moved back and forth so as to be rubbed against an inclined woven fabric 3a that is disposed in front of the suction port 4 of the dust collector 1, thereby enabling dust collection in which the adhering substances adhered to the mop 7 is scraped off by inclined piles 3b, and at the same time, the scraped off adhering substance can be moved to the suction port 4 to be collected by the dust collector 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
