The present invention relates to a system for operating a nuclear power plant which is capable of improving recognition and a method for operating a nuclear power plant using the same. The system for operating a nuclear power plant according to the present invention includes: a large information display panel for displaying an operation situation; operator displays provided to operators, respectively; and a control unit for performing a safety parameter display system (SPDS) function of representing whether a safety function is kept in an emergency operation situation and a bypassed and inoperable status indication (BISI) function of representing whether the system is usable in a normal operation situation, wherein the control unit controls the large information display panel and the operator displays, and integrates a successful path of the SPDS function and the fact whether each successful path corresponds to the BISI such that an integrated image is displayed on the large information display panel. |
