PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution system carrying out a safe automatic update of FW, even in a case with an occurrence of a mismatch in FW version in FW group excluding a component forming an accessory FW group in MFP.SOLUTION: This distribution system has: a first registration means for registering a combination of a firm ware to be applied to MFP and its accessory; a second registration means for registering the information of the firm ware to be applied to the accessory; a receiving means for receiving the information of the firm ware; a first determination means for determining whether or not the combination including the received information exists; a notification means for notifying the information that update should be carried out when the combination exists; a second determination means for determining whether or not information exists applied to the received accessory when the combination does not exist; a specification means for specifying the combination including the information applied to the accessory from the registered combinations when the information exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
