Disclosed is an apparatus for fixing a steering column of a vehicle. The apparatus for fixing a steering column of a vehicle comprises a steering part fixing bracket, a housing member and a hinge member. The steering part fixing bracket is coupled to a cowl cross bar. The housing member is inserted into the steering part fixing bracket and allows a steering shaft to be rotationally coupled thereto. The hinge member couples the housing member to the steering part fixing bracket to be rotated. The hinge member comprises: a hinge bolt part, a hinge tube part, a hinge bush part and an elastic part. The hinge bolt part passes through the steering part fixing bracket and the housing part to couple the housing member to the steering part fixing bracket to be rotated. The hinge tube part surrounds the hinge bolt part, is inserted into the steering part fixing bracket and has both ends in contact with the steering part fixing bracket. The hinge bush part is located between the hinge tube part and the housing member and is rubbed against the housing member when the housing member is rotated. The elastic part is positioned between the hinge bush part and the hinge tube part to elastically support the hinge bush part. The structure of the hinge member supporting the housing member to be rotated is improved, thereby preventing the generation of noise and damage to the apparatus and reducing deviation of operational force. |
