PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for terrazzo that prevents peeling of an aggregate.SOLUTION: A shell fragment 12 is pasted on a wire net 20 using a flexible adhesive 14, for making a shell fragment assembly 22. The shell fragment assembly may be used for manufacturing factory-made terrazzo and construction site-made terrazzo. The shell fragment assembly is embedded in cement paste, cured, and then the shell fragments are polished. The thin shell fragments polished on a surface do not peel off, because shell fragments have been bonded to each other with the adhesive.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
