PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine abnormality detection device capable of detecting a primary stage of abnormality generated in a rotary electric machine and also to provide a rotary electric machine abnormality detection method, and a rotary electric machine equipped with the same.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a rotary electric machine abnormality detection device AD equipped with a rotor RB which is rotated axially with respect to a predetermined shaft. This detection device includes: an ultrasonic measurement part 1 which measures vibration in an ultrasonic wave band generated due to the rotor RB; and an abnormality detection part 22 which detects initial abnormality of a rotary electric machine M based on a first measurement data measured by the ultrasonic measurement part 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
