A cylinder head (10) comprises: one or more discharge channels (12) which can be closed by a discharge valve (30); and a cooled air channel system which has one or more cooled air channels (41, 42) for supplying cooled air to the discharge valve. The cooled air channels of the cooled air channel system in the cylinder head are formed in a substantially linear and/or constant cross section, or in a continuously widened cross section. Therefore, the present invention decreases the temperature of the discharge valve. |
