PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent coagulation of liquid discharged to a base layer having poor wettability.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a print head discharging liquid; and a control section causing first liquid to be discharged from the print head, forming a coagulation prevention protrusion portion on a medium and causing second liquid to be discharged from the print head onto a region including the coagulation prevention protrusion portion. Coagulation of transparent ink can be prevented by forming the coagulation prevention protrusion portion and uniform glossiness can be obtained even in a plastic film or the like having a base layer having poor wettability against the ink.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
