Described herein are electronic devices that comprise a holographic optical element, a transparent waveguide concentrator, an electromagnetic energy conversion device, and an electronic device. The holographic optical element and the transparent waveguide concentrator of the transparent solar energy collection system are transparent such that they may provide little to no visibility distortion, which may make the system useful for electronic device display integrated photovoltaic applications.
