PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter for a near-ultraviolet light-emitting element light source which can perform excellent blue display when being used in a liquid crystal display device with the near-ultraviolet light-emitting element light source, and a method of manufacturing the color filter.SOLUTION: A color filter for a near-ultraviolet light-emitting element light source has a transparent base substrate, and a blue coloring layer that is formed on the transparent base substrate and contains triarylmethane coloring material and binder resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
