PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a checkout counter capable of improving the degree of freedom in layout of equipment placed on a placement plane.SOLUTION: The checkout counter includes: a placement table which has a placement plane for placing a power reception device; plural transmitting coils which are disposed generally parallel to the placement plane; and power transmission control means that generates an electromotive force on receiving coils of the power reception device which is placed on the placement plane by means of electromagnetic induction using the transmitting coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
