摘要 A computer implemented system and method for management of advertisements is disclosed. The system provides effective and efficient management of advertisements. The system provides for effective collaboration of online advertisements and offline advertisements. The system collects advertisements from online resources as well as offline resources, and subsequently converts offline advertisements into online advertisements based on image processing techniques. Further, the system generates advertisements which encompass an optimum fit into the target website, subsequent to analyzing the layout of the target website to identify the advertisements that best suit the target website.

A computer implemented system for managing advertisements rendered accessible to a user, said system comprising: a internet enabled device accessible to a user, said computer implemented device configured to enable said user to capture at least off-line images; an extractor cooperating with said internet enabled device, said extractor configured to extract contextual information from said off-line images; a web crawler communicably coupled to a web server, said web crawler configured to access World Wide Web via said web server, and extract at least a plurality of advertisements therefrom; an image database cooperating with said web crawler, said image database configured to store the advertisements extracted by the web crawler, in an image format, said image database cooperating with an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client, to receive and access advertisements published as off-line publications, said image database still further configured to store the advertisements published as off-line publications, in the image format; a metadata repository cooperating with said image database, said metadata repository configured to store at least the metadata corresponding to the advertisements stored in said image database; a matching engine cooperating with said extractor, image database and metadata repository, said matching engine configured to compare the contextual information extracted by said extractor, with the advertisements extracted by the web crawler, and the advertisements published as off-line publications, to identify an advertisement matching the contextual information extracted from the off-line images captured by the user, said matching engine still further configured to transmit the advertisement matching with the contextual information, along with corresponding metadata, to the internet enabled device accessible to the user.
