PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed stator which can reduce a thickness of a covering material.SOLUTION: A sealed stator of the invention includes: a stator 3 where a stator coil 2 is wound around a stator core 1; a filler 4 that fills a stator coil part; ring members 5 which are provided at both end parts of a cylindrical body composed of the stator 3 and the filler 4, each ring member 5 having an inner circumferential flange part 5a and an outer circumferential flange part 5b; an inner circumferential covering material 6 which covers the cylindrical body and an inner peripheral surface of the inner circumferential flange part 5a and has an end part joined to the inner circumferential flange part 5a by tight welding; and an outer circumferential covering material 7 which covers the cylindrical body and an outer peripheral surface of the outer circumferential flange part 5b and has an end part joined to the outer circumferential flange part 5b by tight welding. The inner circumferential flange part 5a is thicker than the inner circumferential covering material 6. An end part of the inner circumferential covering material 6 is folded to the outer peripheral surface side of the inner circumferential flange part 5a so as to cover an end part of the inner circumferential flange part 5a, and the end part of the inner circumferential covering material 6 is placed in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the inner circumferential flange part 5a. |
