The folded sliding shutter has multiple protecting elements (1) which are connected to one another in a movable manner such that one protecting element is folded with the other protecting element. The protecting elements adjust the thin width of the building opening associated to a window- or door element. The protecting elements are connected to one another over coupling elements (3) which define an offset of the protecting elements to each other in the unfolded condition. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for folding and unfolding of folded sliding shutters for a building opening; and (2) a method for motor-driven folding and unfolding of a folded sliding shutters for a building opening. |
