The present invention relates to a device for tying a shoestring. The device comprises: a lower body having one or more body concave grooves formed on both lengthwise sides in an upper end of a circumference thereof; a rotor seated on the lower body, having a hanger protruding from a lower end surface thereof with an interval therebetween, and having rotor saw-teeth formed on an upper end surface thereof in a predetermined radius; an upper cover correspondently assembled to seal an upper surface of the lower body, having a cover concave groove corresponding to the body concave groove, having a penetration hole in an upper surface thereof, and having cover saw-teeth formed in a lower end circumference of the penetration hole to be geared with the rotor saw-teeth and making the rotor rotated only in one single direction; a coil spring interposed between the lower body and the rotor, and always linking the rotor saw-teeth with the cover saw-teeth; and a rotation knob coupled with an upper end of the rotor partially exposed through the penetration hole, and making the rotor rotated. The rotor saw-teeth and cover saw-teeth are formed in a right triangular shape, so the rotor may be rotated clockwise but not counterclockwise. A hanger rotation groove for guiding the hanger is further formed on a bottom surface of the lower body. |
