PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer capable of avoiding falling of a label from a stage.SOLUTION: A label printer comprises: a storage part for storing roll-state label paper in which an adhesive layer is provided on a reverse surface of a printing surface to be a printing object; a printing part for applying printing to the label paper carried by being pulled out of the storage part; a cutting part provided on the downstream side in the paper carrying direction of the printing part and successively cutting the label paper after printing by moving a movable blade of a lower part toward a fixed blade of an upper part; and a stage provided on the downstream side in the paper carrying direction of the cutting part and receiving a label cut by the cutting part. In an edge of the movable blade, non-adhesive processing is applied except for an area of meshing in the first place with the fixed blade.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
