PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation converter which allows for capturing high quality radiographic images by improving adhesion of the radiation converter with a photoelectric conversion element member and a glass member and reducing image irregularity even when used for a radiographic image conversion device of relatively small size and which allows for improving productivity by preventing cracking of the glass member, and to provide a manufacturing method for the radiation converter.SOLUTION: A phosphor layer has a thickness distribution of no greater than ±20% in an outer periphery thereof, and a tangent gradient of no greater than 0.05% between a point of minimum thickness in the outer periphery thereof and a point of maximum thickness in a phosphor layer plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
