PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent heat recovery type water heater in an exhaust suction combustion method, which can more securely suppress damage or deterioration of a fan, etc.SOLUTION: This water heater is a latent heat recovery type water heater capable of heating hot water by recovering latent heat of combustion gas and includes: a burner for generating combustion gas by burning fuel gas at least in part of a combustion zone; a heat exchanger for heating the hot water flowing therein through heat exchange with the combustion gas generated by the burner; and a fan for sucking the combustion gas that has passed through the heat exchanger and discharging the combustion gas to outside of the water heater. The fan includes: a fan case; an impeller accommodated in an inner space of the fan case; a driving source mounted to the fan case to drive the impeller; and a rotating shaft connecting the impeller and the driving source. In the fan case, a temperature sensor is arranged on a ceiling wall located on the side opposite to the heat exchanger side relative to the impeller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
