PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for a wire covering material in which a filler as a flame retardant can be reduced as possible without using electron beam cross linking, further, high in heat resistance, high in a gel fraction, having flexibility and good in workability to a wire harness or the like, an insulated wire and a wire harness.SOLUTION: Provided is a wire covering material composed using a composition comprising: (A) silane graft polyolefin in which a silane coupling agent is grafted to polyolefin having a density of 0.855 to 0.885 g/cm; (B) unmodified polyolefin having a density of 0.890 to 0.955 g/cm; (C) modified polyolefin modified by one or two or more kinds of functional groups selected from a carboxylic acid group, an acid anhydride group, an amino group, an acryl group, a methacryl group and an epoxy group; (D)a bromine-based fire retardant and antimony trioxide; (E) a crosslinking catalyst; (F) zinc oxide and an imidazole compound/or zinc sulfide; (G) an oxidation inhibitor; (H) a metal inert agent; (I) a lubricant; (J)a high polymer weight polyolefin resin particles having the weight average molecular weight of 15 to 500,000.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
