PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion beam type suspension capable of facilitating positioning of a torsion beam and trailing arms, especially positioning in a rotation direction.SOLUTION: A torsion beam type suspension comprises: a torsion beam 5 in which curved parts curved in a direction crossing a longitudinal direction are provided at both end parts in the longitudinal direction, and projection edge parts 53 in the direction crossing the longitudinal direction are formed at both end edge parts of the curved parts; and a pair of trailing arms 6 which comprise beam joint parts 6a that are connected to the curved parts at both end parts of the torsion beam while being overlapped therewith, and in which projection edge parts 69 projecting in the same direction as the projection edge parts of the torsion beam are formed at end edge parts of the beam joint parts. The trailing arm includes a first joint part which is overlapped with the curved part of the torsion beam, and to which a tip of the curved part of the torsion beam is joined, and a second joint part in which an end face 53a in an axial direction of the projection edge part of the torsion beam is butted against and joined to an opposing end face 69a in the axial direction of the projection edge part of the trailing arm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
