PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezing prevention device of a breather valve capable of normally operating the breather valve without freezing the valve body and valve seat of the breather valve, in a stationary roof type storage tank in a cold district.SOLUTION: In a freezing prevention device of a breather valve 9 attached to the outside of a storage tank, the whole breather valve 9 is stored in a windbreak cover 10, and the windbreak cover 10 includes a suction and discharge port 10d that suctions each gas suctioned and discharged with breathing of the breather valve to the inside of the windbreak cover 10, and discharges the gas to the outside thereof. Also, in the freezing prevention device, a space part in the windbreak over 10 excluding a space part communicating with the suction and discharge port 10d of the windbreak cover 10 is filled with a heat insulation material 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
