PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor capable of easily forming a discharge passage connecting to a space on a downstream side of a check valve, even if there is a restriction in a suction passage.SOLUTION: A compressor 100 has a suction chamber 141; a cylinder bore 101a; a discharge hole 103b; a discharge chamber 142 arranged on the inner side in a diametrical direction of the suction chamber 141; a discharge passage 104d; and a check valve 200. The compressor 100 discharges a compressed coolant from the discharge passage 104d. The compressor 100 includes a sectioning member 160 which is fitted along an inner peripheral surface 104f of a peripheral wall 104b forming the discharge chamber 142, and divides the discharge chamber 142 into 2 pieces in a height direction of the peripheral wall 104b to section the discharge chamber 142 into a first space 142a connected with the discharge hole 103b and a second space 142b facing a bottom wall 104a of the discharge chamber 142.
