The present disclosure is related to industries that handle, deal with and are specialized in processes for the manipulation of high added value metals and the treatment of the residual effluents thereof. The invention specifically relates to the design and operation of an extraction column allowing metal recovery from effluents through a fine treatment, for evaluating the same and reducing or eliminating, as appropriate, the possible environmental pollution.
