PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo box reinforcing structure of an automobile which can avoid the lowering of the rigidity of a cargo box while forming a recess at a cargo box frame.SOLUTION: A cargo box 4 comprising a cargo box frame 9 having a seat frame 12 extending to a vehicle fore-and-aft direction is mounted on a vehicle body frame 2 extending to the vehicle fore-and-aft direction, a breather pipe (vehicle body side part) 14 is formed at a lower face of the side frame 12 so that a recess 12e in which the breather pipe 14 is arranged is upwardly recessed when the breather pipe is arranged so as to traverse the lower face of the side frame 12, and reinforcing means 16 composed of a protrusive beam 12f extending to the vehicle fore-and-aft direction and a reinforcing pipe 13 is added to the recess 12e so as to match a recesses shape of the recess 12e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
