Provided is a silicone-based coating composition comprising: a silicone-based resin; a silicone-based hardener; and a thermal initiator, wherein the silicone-based coating composition further comprises a silicone-based compound of chemical formula 1. Also, provided is a silicone-based release film comprising: a base layer; and a coating layer which is a cured product of the silicone-based coating composition.
