PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: a light source driving device cannot be cooled according to a discharge distance of a light source of a projection type image display device.SOLUTION: A projection type image display device includes a light source part, a light source driving part that drives the light source part, a cooling part that cools the light source part or the light source driving part, a light source information acquisition part that acquires a current or a voltage to be applied to the light source part, and a cooling setting part that establishes setting for cooling of the cooling part according to information from the light source information acquisition part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
