The invention relates to a sealing arrangement (11) for sealing a gap between two components (13, 15) lying with the gap sides flat against one another, wherein each component (13, 15) has grooves in the gap side surfaces lying opposite one another, in which grooves a sealing element (42) is arranged for closing the gap. In order to provide an improved sealing arrangement (11), which further guarantees an easy assembly by means of a transversal movement of the two components (13, 15) concerned toward each other, and, despite a possible gulf between the two gap-side surfaces (30, 32) of the components (13, 15), further guarantees a particularly reliable sealing of the gap present between the two gap sides (24), at least one of the two grooves (35b) is dimensioned, when viewed in cross section, in such a way that the sealing element (42) can be completely sunk into the groove, and at least one mounting hole (39) opens into the groove bottom (37), through which mounting hole an aid can be fed, which can be inserted through an opening (40) lying opposite the mounting hole mouth, for pushing the sealing element into the other one of the two grooves (34). |
