PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit deformation of a battery module.SOLUTION: A battery module includes: battery cells 11; and heat transfer plates. The battery cells 11 and the heat transfer plates are sandwiched by a first end plate 61 and a second end plate provided at both sides in a parallel arrangement direction of the battery cells 11. A plate-like intermediate plate 51 and a plate-like elastic member 31 are provided between the first end plate 61 and a first battery cells 11a. The intermediate plate 51 is provided at the first battery cells 11a side. The elastic member 31 is provided at the first end plate 61 side.
