Provided in the present invention is glass, which has a refractive index in the range of 1.75 to 1.80 and Abbe′s number νd in the range of 47 to 52, can be stably supplied, and can achieve high yields of production. The glass contains: La_2O_3, Y_2O_3, ZrO_2, ZnO, and Nb_2O_5; and one side or both sides of B_2O_3 and SiO_2. |
