An O-ring mounting device 1 comprises: an O-ring supporting means 15, 16 that can support an O-ring in at least three supporting points from the interior of the O-ring; an O-ring pushing means 14, 27 that pushes the O-ring from the outside of the O-ring between two of the at least three supporting points; and a pushed state releasing means 23 that releases the pushed state of the O-ring by way of the O-ring pushing means 14, 27. The O-ring mounting device suitable for a wide range of applications without being limited by the O-ring dimensions or the like can be provided.
