A wireless communication system includes: a plurality of master stations; slave stations that communicate with the master stations; and a central station that instructs frequencies used in the master stations; wherein each of the master stations has a plurality of frequencies changed at constant time intervals, each of the master stations selects a frequency to use out of the frequencies not overlapping with the frequency used in another master station in the same time zone, from among the plurality of frequencies, and when communication quality of the selected frequency to use is lower than a predetermined threshold value, each of the master stations switches the frequency to the other frequency from within the plurality of frequencies included in the own station. |
