Disclosed are a filament manufacturing system using a waste rope and a method therefor. A filament manufacturing system using a waste rope according to a first embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cutting apparatus for cutting a waste rope to have a predetermined unit length required in a process; a cleaning apparatus for cleaning a unit waste rope cut to have the unit length through the cutting apparatus; and a scutching apparatus for scutching the unit waste rope having been cleaned through the cleaning apparatus, using spiral saw blades, to manufacture a filament. |
