PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease application device capable of efficiently applying grease to a spline part formed at the end part of an output shaft, and a method thereof.SOLUTION: A grease application device 1 includes a transcription member 70 transcribing grease to a spline part at the end part of a shaft, and a grease supply member 80 supplying grease to the inner peripheral surface of the transcription member. The transcription member 70 comprises a plurality of transcription split bodies 70a. Each transcription split body 70a can be expanded/contracted radially in a radial direction with the shaft of the grease application device as a center, is integrated in a state of being positioned most radial inside, and is a cylindrical body inside which the spline part can enter. |
