PURPOSE: A method for isolating stem cells using a novel medium and a cell therapeutic agent using the isolated stem cells are provided to use for treating incurable diseases and to effectively treat nervous system diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and skeletal diseases. CONSTITUTION: A medium for culturing stem cells contains 20% of fetal bovine serum(FBS), 1-40 ng/ml of bFGF, 0.1-5.0 ug/ml of ascorbic acid, 1-40 ng/ml of EGF, 0.1-1 ug/ml of hydrocortisone, 1-40 ng/ml of IGF-1 or 1-5 ng/ml of VEGF, and 20-25 ug/ml of heparin added-EGM-2 or SNU-1. The stem cell is an adult stem cell. |
