The composition includes eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA), citral, hinokitiol, linalool or α-terpineol having high antimicrobial activity, growth-inhibiting effect and sterilizing effect against methicillin resistant Staphylococcus Aureus strains. It is possible to ensure the use of a pharmaceutical product and health-aid food as an advanced material by verifying the effectiveness of the antimicrobial composition against methicillin resistant strains and providing an antimicrobial agent including the same, and thus to contribute to prevention or treatment of infection with methicillin resistant strains.
