摘要 The present invention relates to a molding composition, a process for the manufacturing of this molding composition, the molded parts obtainable from this molding composition as well as the use of the molding composition for the manufacturing of molded parts used in the automotive industry, for housings, latches, window winding systems, wiper systems, pulleys, sun roof systems, seat adjustments, levers, gears, claws, pivot housing, brackets, wiper arms or seat rails. The molding composition contains at least one polyoxymethylene having terminal OH-groups between 20 mmol/kg and 50 mmol/kg, at least one polyisocyante coupling agent, at least one reinforcing glass fiber that has been sized, and optionally at least one formaldehyde scavenger. The moldings produced from this molding composition are distinguished by their improved mechanical properties while having low formaldehyde emissions and excellent tensile strength while having a good flex fatigue and creep performance.

A molding composition comprising a) at least one polyoxymethylene having terminal OH-groups of at least 40 mmol/kg, the at least one polyoxymethylene being present in the composition in an amount of from about 40% to about 90% by weight, b) at least one reinforcing fiber, c) at least one coupling agent comprising a polyisocyanate that couples the at least one polyoxymethylene and the at least one reinforcing fiber, and d) at least one formaldehyde scavenger.
