PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing timing control device which can suppress the generation of a tapping sound when relatively rotating a driven-side rotating body and a drive-side rotating body by an electric actuator.SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing timing control device 1 comprises a gear-type phase adjusting mechanism C which sets relative rotation phases of a drive-side rotating body A which rotates synchronously with a crank shaft 2 by drive force of an electric actuator M, and a driven-side rotating body B which rotates integrally with at least either of an intake cam shaft 3 and an exhaust cam shaft. The phase adjusting mechanism C makes a position of an eccentric axial core Y revolve with a rotating axial core X as a center by the drive force of the electric actuator M, and makes an input gear connected to the drive-side rotating body A via an Oldham joint 30 relatively rotate with respect to an output gear which is fixed to the driven-side rotating body B. In the Oldham joint 30, linear grooves 40 and rectangular protrusions 50 are slidably engaged with each other between the drive-side rotating body A and an Oldham ring 23, and between the Oldham ring 23 and the input gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
