PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment method by which hair entanglement is prevented in the entire process from shampoo to dry, and an excellent conditioning effect is obtained.SOLUTION: The invention provides a hair treatment method comprising washing the hair with the following shampoo (A) and subsequently treating the hair with the following hair cosmetic (B). (A) The shampoo containing components (a1), (a2), and (a3): (a1) 1 mass% or more to 25 mass% or less of an anionic surfactant; (a2) 0.01 mass% or more to 5 mass% or less of a cationic polymer; and (a3) 0.6 mass% or more to 10 mass% or less of mineral salt, or organic acid or an organic base salt of Cor less.
