PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing type power unit of a saddle-riding type vehicle, which can inhibit the rigidity of an oil pan from lowering even when an oil level checking window is formed in the oil pan.SOLUTION: A swing type power unit 3 of a saddle-riding type vehicle 1 comprises a crank case 5a rotatably supporting a crankshaft 51, and hanger arms 50L, 50R which are formed integrally with the crank case and swingably journal the crank case to a vehicle body frame 2, in which an oil level checking window 103 for allowing visual recognition of an oil quantity from the outside is provided in an oil pan 102 of the crank case. The hanger arms are formed extending forward from the oil pan. The oil level checking window is provided such that, in a vehicle side view, the same falls in a region between an upper imaginary line La which is an extension of an upper contour line 50a of the hanger arm 50L to the oil pan side, and a lower imaginary line Lb which is an extension of a lower contour line 50b to the oil pan side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
