The present invention relates to a method and system for making profits out of advertisements by using a mobile terminal, which allows a visitor to recognize tags with the mobile terminal in various business places, such as a store, a restaurant, etc., where the tags are installed, extract information or data from the tags, and receive a certain amount of benefits if the visitor publicizes the extracted information or data on his/her social media or exposes the same to others, thereby activating advertising activities by the visitor, i.e., viral marketing. The system of the present invention comprises a mobile terminal, a tag, and a server. The server stores advertisements that an advertiser wants to publicizes in a DB module, and transmits advertisement information corresponding to an unique identification code of the tag recognized by the mobile terminal to the mobile terminal by transmitting/receiving the unique identification code and extracting the advertisement information from the DB module by using a transceiver module and an extractor module, so can display the advertisement information on the mobile terminal. Since the advertisement information is posted on various kinds of social media through a posting module and the number of posting activities is stored in the server, the server can compute and save points through a paying module. Thus, benefits may be given to the visitor who posts up by using the mobile terminal as well as a tag operator. |
