Disclosed are a backlight module (200) and a liquid crystal display device, the backlight module comprising a back plate (10) and a middle frame (20), wherein the back plate (10) comprises a bottom face (11) and a side wall (12), a plurality of slot structures (13) are arranged on the side wall (12), and the slot structure (13) comprises a fastener portion (133); the middle frame (20) comprises a transverse support portion (21), a plurality of hook structures (23) are connected to a first end (21a) of the transverse support portion (21), each hook structure (23) corresponds to one slot structure (13), the hook structure (23) comprises two connecting arms (231), one end of the connecting arm (231) is connected to the first end (21a) of the transverse support portion (21), the other end thereof is provided with a snap-fit portion (233), and the two connecting arms (231) are connected by an elastic part (232); and the hook structure (23) is arranged in the slot structure (13) in a penetrating manner, and the snap-fit portion (233) and the fastener portion (133) are snap-fitted with each other, such that the middle frame (20) is fixedly assembled in the back plate (10). By improving the mutually fixed matching structure of the back plate and the middle frame, a border width of a liquid crystal display module is effectively decreased, and the design of the liquid crystal display device with a narrow border structure is facilitated. |
