A nozzle assembly (300) for a welding torch and a welding torch including said nozzle assembly (300) is provided. The nozzle assembly (300) generally comprises a base (302) defining a distal threaded portion for securing the nozzle assembly (300) to a distal end portion of a conductor tube of the welding torch, the base (302) defining a distal threaded portion and a nose (304) defining a mating threaded portion adapted to engage the distal threaded portion of the base (302), thereby removably securing the nose (304) to the base (302). The distal threaded portion may comprise tapered Edison threads or a shell thread design.
