PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhalator which has a relatively simple structure, is robust, easily manufactured and easy for a patient to use.SOLUTION: An inhalator comprises: a housing which demarcates a chamber for receiving a strip having a plurality of blisters each storing the dose of a medicinal drug to be inhaled by a user; a start lever 14; and a blister strip drive member which is rotatably mounted in the chamber for sequentially moving each blister to the blister opening position. The blister strip drive member and the start lever respectively include a drive gear 16 and a drive gear element 28 that cooperate with each other to generate rotation of the blister strip drive member in response to rotation of the start lever. The drive gear and the drive gear element are arranged on the outer side of the housing apart from the chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
