A liquid crystal display device to prevent a blue line dim phenomenon and a driving method thereof are disclosed. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal display panel (100); a temperature measuring part (600) which measures the temperature of the liquid crystal display panel; and a timing controller (300) which compares the temperature value of the temperature measuring part (600) with a predetermined temperature value and changes the inversion driving mode of the liquid crystal display panel (100) depending on the comparison result. |
