Elastic strip sealing for windows, doors and similar elements

The strip (1) has a head area (2) including profile backs (5). A discharging area of a sealing bar (6) of the head area in a connection bar (7) and a discharging area of a bar section (10) in a support bar (8) are equidistant from the backs. The sealing bar partially overlaps a course of another bar section (9) with its end area that is turned away from the connection bar. The latter bar section runs in a lower side of the sealing bar under an acute angle (alpha). The sealing and connection bars and the bar sections are made of foam material i.e. thermoplastic elastomer.
